Samsung's Galaxy A series covers almost every budget, which is also why its prices are confusing. The same model can show three different prices on three sites, and older models stay listed for years. This guide compares the Galaxy A phones you can still buy new in Pakistan, explains the price conflicts we found, and suggests which one to pick.

Checked 13 October 2026 on Samsung Pakistan and three Pakistani price listings (see Sources). Ranges show the lowest and highest price we found. Samsung runs frequent offers, so check its website before you buy.
Why prices for the same model differ
- Samsung offers. Samsung Pakistan's own pages showed time-limited discounts. For example, the Galaxy A37 5G page showed Rs 138,499 during "Samsung Week", a Rs 26,500 saving, and the A57 page showed discounts of Rs 29,000 to Rs 34,900 instead of a fixed price.
- Different memory versions. Some listings name the RAM and storage, and others do not.
- Sale prices. Some retailers show a discounted price that changes daily.
The Galaxy A56 price conflict
You may see the Galaxy A56 quoted at both Rs 84,999 and Rs 150,999. When we checked:
- Rs 150,999 is the price listed for the 12GB and 256GB version of the A56.
- The 8GB and 256GB A56 was about Rs 137,999 to Rs 146,999.
- Rs 84,999 matched a listing for the Galaxy A17 with 256GB storage, not the A56.
So if you see an A56 at around Rs 85,000, ask which model it really is, and check whether it is PTA approved.
A note on the Galaxy A17 5G
Some shops list a Galaxy A17 5G. When we checked, we could not confirm that Samsung Pakistan sells the 5G version officially, so we suggest the 4G Galaxy A17, which Samsung's Pakistan site lists.
Which Galaxy A should you buy?
Under Rs 50,000: Galaxy A07
The cheapest current A model. It suits calls, WhatsApp, social apps and a long-lasting Samsung build. If your budget is this size, also look at other brands in our best mobile under 50000 list, as some give more storage for the money.
Rs 65,000 to Rs 85,000: Galaxy A17
Samsung's Pakistan page lists a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen at 90Hz, a 50MP main camera, a 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging, with the Exynos 1330 chip. It is the best-balanced Galaxy A for most buyers. Compare it with other phones in our best mobile under 100000 list.
Rs 130,000 to Rs 150,000: Galaxy A37 5G
Samsung's page lists:
- 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen
- 50MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultra wide, 5MP macro, 12MP front
- 5,000mAh battery with Super Fast Charging 2.0, about 60% in 30 minutes
- IP68 dust and water resistance
- up to 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates
For most people who want a step up from the A17, this is the model to buy.
Rs 150,000 and up: Galaxy A57 5G
The A57 shares the A37's screen size, battery, charging, IP68 rating and update promise, according to Samsung's page. The main differences listed are a 12MP ultra wide camera instead of 8MP, and versions with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Pay the extra only if you want the better ultra wide camera or more memory.
Skip unless it is cheap: Galaxy A56 5G
The A56 is the older model. At the prices we found, it costs about the same as the newer A37 5G and A57 5G, which launched in Pakistan in April 2026 and will get updates for longer from their release date. Choose the A56 only if a seller offers it at a clearly lower price.
Before you buy any Galaxy A phone
- Check PTA status. Dial *#06# and check the IMEI on dirbs.pta.gov.pk or by SMS to 8484. See how to check PTA status by IMEI.
- Check the exact model and memory on the box and in Settings, not only the name on the listing.
- Ask for the official warranty card if you are buying from a Samsung store or authorised seller.
- Look at Samsung's own site for the current offer price before paying more at a shop.
