About Aalajaat Blog

Aalajaat Blog helps people in Pakistan buy phones, laptops and other devices with fewer surprises. We write about prices, PTA approval and tax, buying guides by budget, checks for used devices, comparisons between models, and new launches.

Who runs it

The blog is part of Aalajaat, an online marketplace for devices in Pakistan. Aalaat means tools or devices. Aalajaat is coming soon. Once it opens, you will be able to post what you want to buy, get offers from vendors, and browse vendor shops by category.

Posts are written by the Aalajaat Editorial Team.

What you can expect from a post

  • A date on every price. Prices in Pakistan change every week. Each post with prices shows the date we last checked them, and we give a range rather than one number.
  • Sources you can open. Prices, tax figures, PTA rules and launch dates link to the page they came from. Tax and PTA rules link to FBR, PTA or DIRBS wherever an official page exists.
  • Plain advice. Buying guides are based on published specs and market prices. We do not claim to have tested a device unless someone on the team actually did.
  • No paid placement. Brands do not pay to appear in a post, and there are no affiliate links.

How we check prices and how often is explained in our editorial policy.

Most posts end with a short box about the Aalajaat marketplace, which is coming soon. Once it opens, you will be able to post a request for the device you were reading about and compare vendors' offers against the ranges in the post. Using it will be optional, and reading the blog does not need an account.
